Searching for Stops & Routes
The main search bar is your starting point. You can search for:
- Stops: Type a stop name (e.g., "King George Square") or stop code.
- Routes: Type a route number (e.g., "444" or "P331").
- Suburbs: Type a suburb name to see routes that service that area.
As you type, a list of suggestions will appear. Click on an item to interact with it.
Selecting & Managing Stops
- Add/Remove: Click a stop from the search results to add it to your selection. Clicking it again will remove it. Selected stops appear as tags above the map.
- Parent Stations: Some stops (like busway or train stations) are grouped. Click the `+` icon to expand and see all the individual platforms.
- Clear All: Use the "Clear All" button that appears next to the tags to remove all selected stops at once.
Using the Interactive Map
- Stop Markers: Selected stops are automatically plotted on the map. Click a marker to see its name and get walking directions.
- Route Plotting: When you search for a route, click "Show Route on Map" to see its full path, including start (🟢) and end (🔴) points. All stops for that route will also be shown as dots.
- Filtered Routes: When you filter by one or more routes in the departures list, their paths will be drawn on the map for easy comparison.
- Walking Directions: Click the icon next to any stop name (in the search results or on a map popup) to see a walking route from your current location.
Viewing & Filtering Departures
- Live Times: The departure list on the right shows live upcoming services for your selected stops. It automatically refreshes every 10 seconds.
- Route Filters: Once stops are selected, a list of servicing routes appears above the departures. Click on one or more route numbers to filter the list and see only the services you're interested in.
- Mobile Filters: On mobile, tap the "Filter Routes" button to open a multi-select dropdown, saving screen space while providing the same functionality.
- More Details: Click the "More ↓" button on any departure card to see a list of its upcoming stops.
Favorites & "Near Me"
- Save Favorites: After selecting a group of stops you use often (e.g., your morning commute), click the '⭐' icon that appears. Give your selection a name to save it.
- Load Favorites: Click the '❤️' icon in the top right to see your list of saved favorites. Clicking an item will instantly load that set of stops.
- Find Near Me: Click the "Near Me" button to use your device's location to find all transit stops within a 500m radius.
